    Rhytidectomy (Face Lift) Photos

The purpose of face lift surgery, also known as facialplasty, rhytidoplasty, or cervicofacial rhytidectomy, is to improve the appearance of the face by repositioning the skin and tightening some of the underlying muscle and tissue. The procedure is designed to counter sagging and looseness in skin and muscle tissue caused by gravity as the patient ages. For more information on this procedure read Rhytidectomy/Face Lift.

You can reduce your risks of Face Lift by closely following your surgeon's advice both before and after surgery.

    6. All of them look very natural and major improvements. The only problem I've seen with facelifts (as shown on the first photo) is that most people's ears get bigger (longer) with age and gravity. Often times the lift makes the earlobes look too big. I think surgeons should consider ear reduction as part of the procedure. What do you all think? My name is Bobbyepin.

    7. I think all the results look very natural. The only problem that I've seen with some face lifts are the ears. As most of us age, our ears get longer. If you notice on the first picture, her ears seem too large next to her smaller jawline. That's how I can always tell if someone has had a lift. I think surgeons should include a procedure that shortens the lobes to match the face size. What do you all think?

    8. Unless you get plastic surgery for some sort of disfigurement, you're wasting your money and you're old enough to know better. That, or you're just the dumbest of your generation.

    9. I think what bothers me most about some of these....well not these particular photos. But some of the others that I have seen is that some of these before and after shots look the same. Some of the woman in these photos spent all of that money for nothing. For very little result. Life isshort. Got the dough for a smaller tummy...get it....but make sure that your not paying 50000 to look like you just lost 5 pounds.especially when a5 dollar diuretic can do that.

    10. I don't understand why they don't go in and remove the immature posts that people do.. you have to wait for approval.. do they approve them without reading them? They need better moderators here.. Its very distracting to have people come here to do that.. and you know they are young kids or boys who like to make fun of people. Their mothers must not of rasied them right. Terrible.. Moderators why don't you remove these.. Heck..I will be a moderator to help if you don't have someone to help with that.

    11. UNTIL YOU GET TO THE AGE WHEN WRINKLES JOWLS ETC BOTHER YOU, THEN YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY LADIES WANT THESE PROCEDURES DONE.I FOR ONE WOULD LIKE SOME DONE AS I FEEL LIKE A 40 YEAR OLD UNTIL I LOOK IN THE MIRROR WITH A VERY TIRED FACE. I THINK IT MUST BE BETTER TO WANT TO LOOK GOOD , THAN TO LET YOURSELF GO, OF COURSE YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!
